Oreo Ice Blended |
This delicious recipe is posted upon a special request from my boy's good friend, who likes Oreo Ice Blended very much.
There is a slight difference between Oreo Milkshake and Oreo Ice Blended. Milkshake normally contains ice cream and milk blended and flavour added to taste whereas ice blended beverages will have ice crushed in it other than ice cream and milk.
This simple and easy recipe only requires 4 main ingredients!
Ingredients:
- 1 - 1 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream (any brand in the market)
- 1/2 cup milk (or skimmed milk for lower calories)
- 1 cup ice cube
- 6 Oreo cookies, prefer to break into smaller pieces for easy blending (more if you like)
- whipping cream (optional)
You will need a blender that is powerful enough to crush ice.
Method 1:
- In a blender add ice cubes, ice cream, Oreo cookies and milk.
- Place the lid securely over your blender and mix until smooth (you may add more milk if it is too thick to blend)
- Pour into serving glasses and top with whipping cream or a fat free cool whip. (optional)
- Decorate with a Oreo cookie or crushed Oreo cookies or sprinkle some cocoa powder.
- Serve immediately (before it melts). Enjoy!
Method 2:
- In a blender pulse together ice cubes, ice cream and milk until smooth (leave the Oreo cookies).
- Now add the Oreo cookies and press the pulse button until they are to desired chunkiness.
- Pour into serving glasses and top with whipping cream or a fat free cool whip (optional)
- Decorate with a Oreo cookie or crushed Oreo cookies or sprinkle some cocoa powder.
- Serve immediately (before it melts). Enjoy!
The Oreo ice blended from Method 1 is smoother compared to Method 2 with some small crushed Oreo cookies still feasible in it.
So decide which method you prefer most and make some right away :)
HAPPY BAKING AND COOKING!
