Chocolate Cake Mix Waffles 巧克力蛋糕鬆饼

If you own a waffle maker at home, you will be surprised that there are a lot of other things you could make in it other than waffles.

One of the choices you have is to make chocolate cake mix waffles, a simple and easy  recipe, especially when you are dealing with hungry children coming back from school yelling for snacks :) My boys like them because they were more 'interesting', chocolate cake in the shape of waffle.

Ingredients:

• A box of your choice of chocolate cake mix (I used Duncan Hines)

• 3 Eggs (or as per amount required for your cake mix) 

• 1 Cup of water (or as per amount required for your cake mix) 

• 1/3 of vegetable oil (or as per amount required for your cake mix) 

Method:

• Follow the instructions to make the cake batter.

• Follow the instructions of your waffle maker on how to make waffles. 

• Scoop the cake batter and pour it in the waffle maker.

• Spread the batter evenly with a heat resistant spatula. 

• Close the lid. My waffle maker needs to be turned 180 degree. 

• Wait for 2 minutes or until the ready light is on. Different brand or type of waffle makers will vary in cooking time. Please adjust accordingly.

• Leave to cool on a wire rack or serving with a scoop of ice cream while it is still warm.

Perfect shape !
