Do you have difficulty cleaning oil or grease off your reusable plastic containers? Here is a simple and easy tips to ease you.......

What you really need is some oil absorbing powder, such as flour, baking powder or baby powder. I would normally use some flour to do the "dirty job" as I always have some in my kitchen for baking purpose.

Here is what you need:

Some oil absorbing powder. I use plain flour.

Here are the steps:

• Remove any food reside from the container. If the container is heavily coated with grease, wipe it out with paper towel.

Note: Remember not to wash it with water at this stage

• Put some flour in the container.

• Use your fingers to rub the flour all along the inside surface of the container to absorb the oil or grease.

• Do the same with the lid, if needed.

• Discard the used flour.

• Wash and dry the container as usual (with this tips, you don't even need hot water to wash the container)

When you are done, your container is now squeaky clean with no oily residue and unpleasant smell.
