Baked Eggs In A Muffin Tin 烤鸡蛋

I have recently learned this simple, easy and quick way to cook eggs. This method comes in handy if you need to prepare a quick breakfast, snack or make sandwiches for a crowd. You will save a lot of time and the eggs will also be cooked perfectly.

This method of baking eggs is more healthy as you do not need to use lots of oil to fry the eggs. Just crack the eggs and bake them!

Ingredients:
  • Eggs (depends on the amount of eggs needed)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste/optional)


You will also need a muffin tin and non stick cooking spray or vegetable oil. 


Method
  • Preheat oven to 180C or 350F.
  • Lightly spray each muffin tin hole with non stick cooking spray or grease with vegetable oil.
  • Crack an egg into each hole.

  • Season with salt and pepper (optional).
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes (reduce the baking time if you prefer to have a runny egg yolk).

  • Remove from the oven.

  • Remove eggs from muffin tin.

Now you can home-make healthy egg "mcmuffin" every morning for breakfast. The baked eggs may be stored in the fridge in a sealed container for a quick sandwich or snack.

You may also bake quail eggs in a mini muffin tin to be served as finger food for a party.
