Brownie lovers, I have to share this wonderful recipe (which I came across from Pinterest) with you guys. It's super simple, easy and quick to make your own brownie in less than 5 minutes from preparation until ready.
I have tried many other versions of "microwave chocolate cake in a mug" before, but the textures are nothing like the one of this particular recipe. You will definitely be satisfied with this rich, fudgy brownie compared to the other chewy types.
- 1/4 Cup or 35g plain flour or all purpose flour
- 1/4 Cup packed or 45g brown sugar (I used 35g)
- 2 tbsp or 10g Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil (I used canola oil)
- 2 tbsp Milk (you may use water or coffee)
- 1 to 2 tbsp Chopped chocolate or chocolate chips (optional)
Pinch of salt |
Method:
- In a bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients until no lump, i.e. flour, sugar and cocoa powder and salt.
Stir until no lump |
- Stir in oil and milk (or water or coffee) until you have a thick paste.
- Stir in chopped chocolate or chocolate chips, if using.
- Transfer the mixture to a heatproof mug or ramekin.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute, checking it after 30 seconds.
After 30 seconds in microwave |
- You get yourself a nice hot home make fudgy brownie when it's springy on top but still a bit gooey.
After 1 min in microwave |
Give it a try, you will not regret it........ :)
HAPPY BAKING AND COOKING!
